Privexa · A Translyx Platform

The Control Boundary for the AI Era

Use powerful AI without exposing more sensitive information than the task requires.

Minimum disclosure. Maximum AI utility.

Text · Documents · Images · Whole-Slide Pathology · Audio · API

Why Privexa exists

AI is moving faster than enterprise data controls.

Organisations increasingly rely on external AI. Valuable and sensitive information naturally follows the workflow.

Blanket bans rarely hold — they tend to push usage into unmanaged tools. What organisations need is a governed boundary.

Privexa creates that control boundary before AI egress.

Three principles

Disclose less. Keep the meaning. Own the policy.

  • Minimum disclosure

Information the downstream AI task does not genuinely require does not leave the boundary.

  • Semantic utility

Roles, relationships and context are preserved, so the AI stays genuinely useful.

  • Organisation control

Your organisation defines privacy and disclosure policy — not the AI provider.

What AI sees

Original → protected → AI → reconstructed.

Toggle the policy. Watch what leaves the boundary — and what the authorised user gets back.

Organisation policy — protect these entity types:

Original

Inside your organisation

Please review Sarah Patel's loan application, received 14 March 2026. Account 12-8839-2219234-00 has a balance of $86,420. She lives at 42 Kauri Street, Ponsonby and can be reached on 021 555 0148 or [email protected]. Reference: Project Harbour.

AI receives

The protected representation that leaves the boundary

Please review name_001's loan application, received date_001. Account account_001 has a balance of amount_001. She lives at address_001 and can be reached on phone_001 or email_001. Reference: project_001.

Authorised user sees

AI response, reconstructed inside the boundary

Summary for Sarah Patel: the application dated 14 March 2026 references account 12-8839-2219234-00 with a balance of $86,420. Recommend verifying contact details before proceeding under Project Harbour.

Every selected entity type is replaced before AI egress. Placeholders keep roles consistent, so the AI can still reason about the case. Illustrative example with fictional data; no AI model is called.

How Privexa works

Five steps, every request.

  1. 01

    Understand

    Identify sensitive and policy-defined information.

  2. 02

    Protect

    Transform what the policy requires.

  3. 03

    Authorise

Route only the protected representation to an approved model or workflow.

  4. 04

    Reconstruct

Restore authorised context inside the controlled boundary.

  5. 05

    Prove

Record the privacy state, model and workflow evidence.

Multimodal privacy

One privacy boundary. Multiple data modalities.

Sensitive information doesn't only live in text. Privexa applies the same policy and evidence model across every modality it handles.

Protected AI conversations with controlled reconstruction.

    Controlled access
  • Documents

Reports, PDFs, office documents and structured text.

    Controlled access
  • Knowledge

Protected retrieval and organisation knowledge workflows.

Advanced imaging spotlight

Privacy controls for whole-slide pathology.

Protect identity-bearing slide information while preserving the diagnostic image workflow.

Privexa focuses on the known identity-bearing surfaces of a digital slide — label, macro image, thumbnail and metadata — plus regions a reviewer adds. It does not run generic OCR over tissue, which in testing produced high false-detection rates and harmed diagnostic utility. This capability is developed and currently undergoing extended validation.

  1. Whole-slide image

    Gigapixel pyramidal slide, as acquired.

  2. Associated privacy surfaces

    LabelMacroThumbnailMetadata
  3. Privexa review

Automatic privacy controls · reviewer-added regions

  4. Protected WSI

A new protected derivative, designed to preserve the diagnostic image workflow.

  5. Approval / controlled release

Release is bound to the exact protected version.

Capabilities in depth

Built for the work people actually do with AI.

Controlled access

Documents & knowledge

Chat with files, extract structure from reports and build organisation knowledge bases. Retrieval runs over protected content, so the model receives the context it needs — not the identities behind it.

  • File Chat
  • Document Intelligence
  • Protected retrieval (RAG)
Pilot

Scribe

Private, local transcription. The transcript is protected before any downstream AI summarisation or structuring, and a human reviews the result.

  • Local transcription
  • Protected downstream AI
  • Human review
Controlled access

Governance

Organisation administrators set users, roles, approved providers and models. Every AI egress produces evidence of exactly what was authorised to leave.

  • Audit evidence
  • Provider & model policy
  • Evaluation and benchmarks

Provider & model flexibility

Keep model choice. Keep data control.

Privexa separates organisation privacy policy from model choice, so approved models can evolve without rebuilding the privacy boundary.

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic Claude
  • Google Gemini
  • Private / self-hosted models

Current engineering supports configurable provider and model access. Approved providers and models are set per organisation policy. Trademarks belong to their respective owners; no endorsement is implied.

Deployment

Deploy where your policy requires.

Deployment options
  • Managed / hosted

Operated by Translyx. Subject to commercial availability.

  • Private cloud

Deployed into a customer-controlled cloud environment.

  • On-premises

    Deployed on customer infrastructure.

  • Restricted / isolated

For restricted environments, where supported and agreed.

Trust architecture

Evidence, not assurances.

Privexa can preserve evidence of exactly which protected representation was authorised to leave your organisation's controlled boundary.

  • Tenant isolation

Each organisation's data, policy and authority are explicitly scoped.

  • Server-authoritative model policy

Approved providers and models are enforced on the server, not chosen by the client.

  • Versioned privacy authority

Protection is derived from versioned state. Reprocessing creates new authority.

  • Exact protected-version approval

Approval is bound to the exact protected representation. Stale approvals do not silently transfer.

  • Audited AI egress

Evidence of exactly which protected representation was authorised to leave the boundary.

  • Fail-closed protection

When protection cannot be established, the workflow stops rather than sending raw data.

  • Controlled reconstruction

Original context is restored only for authorised users, inside the boundary.
